All the comforts of home

This is my second winter staying in the Jazz House which I now consider my home from home. It’s very quiet, clean and a 20 minute walk to Triana and another 5 minutes to the old city, vegueta. It’s a proper neighbourhood not a touristic area but with plenty of buses to Las Canteras, a 20 minute bus ride.The local restaurant Paris does a delicious Menu Del Dia.

Estuve durante 3 meses por motivos de trabajo y todo excelente desde el principio. El trato inmejorable, con amabilidad y disponibilidad en caso de algun problema. Situada al lado de la plaza de la feria, a 15 minutos del centro y de la plaza de San Telmo. La casa es muy moderna y cuidada, lo que transmite sensacion de hogar. Dos baños con duchas cómodas, al igual que la habitación principal. Cocina completamente equipada y con buen funcionamiento. Salon con escritorio en el que se puede trabajar comodamente y además del equipo de musica, television con varias plataformas de streaming para pasar el rato. Sin duda, si tuviera que volver a Las Palmas, me quedaría aquí de nuevo.

Mi lugar feliz

Estuve tres meses en Jazz House y, desde que llegué, Miguel me hizo sentir bienvenido. El piso es espacioso y tiene todo lo que necesitas y está a unos 10 minutos a pie de Triana, 15 de Vegueta y un corto trayecto en autobús a la playa. El estéreo y la televisión son de muy alta calidad y pude disfrutar de mi música de jazz favorita de la extensa colección que se guarda en el apartamento. Los baños estaban impecables, con encantadores productos de baño Ritual. El área tiene algunos restaurantes muy buenos cerca (disfruté de París) y una panadería artesanal realmente excelente a la que me encariñé con sus croissants y pastel de crema pastelera. Es muy tranquilo y también tiene ventanas de doble acristalamiento y siempre estaba caliente a pesar del clima cambiante. Volveré pronto!

Absolutely amazing

I've spent almost a month living in the Jazz House and loved every moment. And Miguel is such an excellent host! The flat is spacious, modern and clean - and you can see that this is not a usual rental flat by noticing the immaculate attention to detail in every place. Personally, I think the location is perfect - it's not overcrowded, more local, lots of nice running routes nearby, 15 minutes to Las Canteras by city bike and 10 minutes walk to Triana full of shops and restaurants. I couldn't recommend Jazz House enough, it's a little gem that I would like people to know but at the same time would love to keep just to myself :)

Best host ever

The apartment is very spacious and modern. The host took care of every detail. In fact, I have never dealt with such a helpful host in my life. At any time, I could ask literally anything related to Gran Canaria, and Miguel answered in a flash. What's more - we have already moved out, and Miguel continues to be a treasure trove of knowledge about Gran Canaria for us, and we often ask him for advice. I would recommend Jazz House to anyone!

The fabulous jazz house!

My husband and I stayed for 5 weeks in the fabulous jazz house. And when I say it's fabulous, it really is! From the moment we entered we felt at home, and during our stay, we had everything we needed to feel great in Gran Canaria. The house is fully equipped with everything necessary and is absolutely perfect for those who need to work during the day. The house is extremely clean, and to be honest, it far exceeded the experience you can have at a hotel. Miguel is a host who really knows how to make you feel at home during your stay in the jazz house and he helps you with all the information you need to enjoy this extraordinary island. The jazz house is very close to Triana, about 10 minutes' walk, and is very close to a bus station (2 minutes) from where you can go directly to Las Canteras beach or to other important areas of Las Palmas. You also have supermarkets nearby (3-4 minutes) where you can buy what you need. While I'm writing this review I'm thinking about something that might be missing from The Jazz House, but I can't think of anything that could be added or improved ????.

Jazz House- 150% recommended

I cannot recommend enough Jazz House, which is a perfect solution for all kinds of visitors in Gran Canaria. The house is very comfortable, sparkly clean and with fast WI-FI connection. Miguel also offers a monitor, which is ideal for a remote worker. Jazz house is perfectly located in Las Palmas. It is close to the historical area of Vagueta and 10 minutes by bus to the two main beaches: Las Canteras and Alcaravaneras. Within walking distance there are a lot of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Jazz house and Miguel have definitely exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend everyone to spend sometime in this great gem in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - you won't regret!

I stayed in the Jazz House with my husband for 5 weeks, and it was the best accommodation we could wish for! First of all, it’s calm. There’s not so many places in Las Palmas where you can expect that. It’s located in a quiet street and the neighbours were quiet too. The apartment is renovated, clean, well-kept and quite modern. We saw 0 famous Canarian cockroaches during our stay (they take care of that regularly). We also loved that the Jazz House is not just good looking, it also has a soul! It’s stylishly decorated and has an enormous collection of CDs, DVDs with music and design books. It also has a sound system and two TVs. And a monitor, if you need to work. In fact, We were working those weeks and the internet connection was perfect (zoom calls, streaming). The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen appliances, washing/drying machine - this house has everything! And yes, we were visited by neighbours' cats:) The location is between Ciudad jardin and Triana. For people like us who like to walk, it was great. We could choose where we want to walk - Canteras or Veguetta. If you don’t like to walk, there’s a bus stop nearby, taxis are cheap too or you can rent a city bike. The host arranged our transportation from and to the airport (we had a huge bag and needed a van), he also arranged cleaning of the apartment during our stay. Miguel is a very attentive, friendly and caring host, I cannot thank him enough! I recommend the Jazz house and hope we will stay there again!
